Accessibility Statement

Our commitment
Above Board Pros wants every visitor to be able to use this website fully, including people who use a screen reader, keyboard navigation, screen magnification, or voice control. Accessibility is something we build into the site, not a script added on top of it.
The standard we target
We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. We do not use an accessibility overlay or widget script. Those tools scan a page after the fact and cannot fix problems in the underlying markup, and they can interfere with the assistive technology a visitor already has configured.
What is built in
- A skip link to the main content on every page
- Semantic headings in order, one H1 per page, and landmark regions for the header, navigation, and footer
- Design token colors chosen to meet WCAG AA’s 4.5:1 text contrast floor, with component-level fixes where a combination fell short
- Keyboard-accessible navigation, with visible focus styles on interactive elements across the site
- Descriptive alt text on meaningful images and empty alt text on decorative ones
- A visible text label on every field in our forms, with errors shown as text rather than color alone
- Frequently asked questions rendered as plain text or native expand and collapse controls, so they can be read without JavaScript
- Motion kept minimal, and reduced further when your browser or device is set to prefer reduced motion
Known limitations
Our quote request form includes a hidden script from TrustedForm, a compliance vendor that certifies consent for us. It runs in the background and does not add anything to the page you interact with, but it is a third-party script outside our control. If any part of that form is a barrier for you, contact us using the details below and we will complete your request another way.
Report a barrier
If any part of this site is hard to use, email hello@aboveboardpros.com with the page address and what happened. We aim to reply within two business days and to fix confirmed barriers in our next release.
